TraceLayer still checks the server
Storage providers can keep supporting artifacts, but they do not replace live-state checks, server truth, dry-run review, or confirmation gates.
- Provider secrets stay out of frontend code.
- External checks are read-only by default.
- Snapshot writes require explicit confirmation.
- Publishing remains manual.
